“Saved” - The Spill Canvas
This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.
“Saved” - The Spill Canvas

Authors include M.T. Anderson, Libba Bray, Cassandra Clare, John Green, Cynthia and Greg Leitich Smith, David Levithan, Kelly Link, Barry Lyga, Tracy Lynn, Wendy Mass, Garth Nix, Scott Westerfield, Lisa Yee, and Sara Zarr.
The worst part is it’s coming sometime in August. I’d be 14 by then. I’m just hoping this isn’t like those disaster anthologies wherein only one story stood out. And, just to be particular in this soliloquy tumblelog, I’m happy David Levithan’s not editing the stories. I feel like 21 Proms and How They Met were made to disappoint.
And you know what makes it disappointing? Gay Pride. I know, somehow, gay characters would pass through the editors but I hope they proportion play them down because, the way I see it, only gay people can fully appreciate gay people.
I’m not referring to anybody in particular because that would send a crack to my viscera (srsly!) but these authors, they are aware that straight people make up a larger part of the world’s population, right?
What gay people do puts me off and I know I’m not the only one so, for the sake of my happiness, I hope I get warnings regarding the number of straight people against gay people. Wait, this post’s getting long. Tumblr’s not for long posts.
I’ll put the last period down here and resume elsewhere.
Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
Sounds better with stereo than mono, or maybe that’s just me. BG had an awesome cover of this song.
